Tarzan

Jane, Cheetah, Clayton… Do you know who they are? On Wednesday, 3rd and 4th grade kids discovered it watching “Tarzan” at the theatre. It was so much fun! They could sing the songs, practice their English and even taking part of the play on the stage!

When we asked the kids what was their favourite part they said: “When Tarzan was taking a shower”, “When the crocodile was attacking Clayton”, “When Jane met Cheetah” and so on.

 They spent a different afternoon and they learnt a lot at the same time. When is the next one?

Expressing feelings

In Arts and Crafts, the students of 3rd grade have worked on portraits. We learned how to identify and name some feelings, and talked about what makes us feel happy, scared, sad, surprised, angry or excited.  

In the end, we drew portraits of people showing each feeling. We also decorated the background of each picture with a colour that reminds us of the feeling we wanted to show. They look very colourful!

3,2,1... ACCIÓ!

Els nens i nenes de tercer que no hem anat a esquiar ens ho hem passat d'allò més bé aquí a l'escola.

Durant els tres dies hem fet diferents activitats com ara matijocs, escacs, la decoració del passadís i mandales. A classe de música hem instrumentat amb panderos, percussió corporal i xilòfons la cançó " We will rock you" i hem resolt dos Crosswords a anglès. També hem estat assajant i preparant unes obres, en grupets, que avui hem representat davant dels nostres companys.

Ens ha passat el temps volant!

Portfoli

Els nens i nenes de 3r hem començat aquesta setmana a elaborar el nostre portfoli, que anirem omplint durant tot el curs. 

Aquest any reflexionarem sobre les nostres expressions escrites en les tres llengües, és a dir, en català, en castellà i també en anglès. 

I al juny haurem de comprovar quina ha estat la nostra evolució des de l’inici de curs.

Segur que tots podrem observar com hem millorat! 

Once Upon a Time

Vet aquí que una vegada, uns alumnes de tercer van editar un vídeo sobre un conte clàssic que els seus mestres els van proposar. Després de pensar-ho, van començar a treballar en petit grup. Van sorgir títols com la Caputxeta Vermella, En Patufet, La Rínxols d'or, Pinotxo, Les set cabretes, Els tres porquets, Hansel i Gretel, Peter Pan...

Amb moltes ganes van  llegir-lo i amb una graella ho van dividir en sis escenes. Abans de començar la gravació, van practicar amb els Story Starter de Lego i amb les iPads.

Tot estava llest per començar a treballar amb l'aplicació iMovie.

Sembla que aquest conte també tindrà un bon final, perquè estan treballant de valent!

Once upon a time...
